CLUB MEMBERSHIP
What memberships types does VPTC offer?
- There a 4 membership types available: Junior / Single / Double / Family.

How do I register for a Club Membership?
- Registration can be completed online at any point throughout the year or on Registration Day.
When is Registration Day?
- Registration Day is held on the last Saturday of April from 9am to 12pm.
What is included with a club membership?
- Tennis programs, social events and club tournaments are available for club members. Additional details can be found on our HOME page.
What payment options are available?
- The preferred payment method is by e-transfer to victoriaparktennisclub@gmail.com.
- Cash or cheque are also accepted on Registration Day.
- We are unable to accept debit or credit payments.
SHOE TAGS & GATE CODE
How do I obtain Shoe Tags and the Gate Code?
- Shoe Tags and the Gate Code are available for pickup by registered members at the VPTC clubhouse on Registration Day.
- If you are unable to attend Registration Day, please visit the clubhouse during regular tennis programming.
- Alternatively, you may contact VPTC to make other arrangements.

What tennis programs does VPTC offer?
- Tennis programming includes: Lessons / Social Play / Leagues.
- Tennis programming is available for club members at no additional cost.

How do I register for tennis programs?
- Once registered for club membership, visit the PROGRAMS page to complete a registration form for individual programs.
Which programs require registration?
- Registration required: Junior Lessons / Team Tennis / Singles Ladder / Interclub / Advanced Doubles.
- Registration NOT required: Adult Lessons / Round Robin Social. These are drop-in programs.
TOURNAMENTS
What tournaments are held at VPTC?
- Adult / Junior Tournament.
- John Greenan Memorial Tournament.
- Club Championships - Juniors / Singles / Doubles / Mixed Doubles (club membership is required).

How do I register for tournaments?
- Tournament registration can be completed through the EVENTS page.
- Registration should be completed after you have received a club communication on the tournament.
Where can I find more information on tournaments?
- Specific details on tournaments are circulated to the membership via email 1-2 weeks prior.
- Schedule information is circulated to the registered players via email 1-2 days prior.
What are the tournament fees and what is included?
- To date, the entry fee for each tournement has been $10 per player.
- The preferred payment method is cash paid the day of and prior to your first match.
- A meal is available for all participants on Sat/Sun tournament days.
What are the tournament prizes?
- Club Championship & JGM winners receive a custom 'Tournament Tag' with tournament details and year. (picture pending)
- Winners and runner-up players each receive a VPTC ball cap or visor. (picture pending)
- Additional tournament prizes vary from year to year.
LOOKING FOR A PARTNER?
I am a new resident or club member and looking for someone to play with.
- One of the best ways to find a playing partner is to participate in the ROUND ROBIN SOCIAL held on Wednesday evenings.
- Speak with our Club Professional or Head Coach.
I want to play in a tournament but I don't have a partner.
- That's OK, just register and our Club Professional will try and partner you with another player. No guarantees but you can't play unless you're registered.

How do I access and/or use the ball machine?

RULES
Can I bring a guest?
- Guests are welcome and must be accompanied by a member. Daily guest fee is $10.

Where can I play indoor tennis in the off season?
- Royal City Tennis Club (RCTC) is located in Guelph.
Is the clubhouse available to rent for events not related to tennis?
- No.
How do I obtain a receipt?
- Please contact VPTC via email and our Treasurer will issue a receipt.
How do I cancel a registration?
- Please contact VPTC via email.
Am I eligible for a refund on my club membership?
- Typically no, but requests are addressed case by case. Please contact VPTC via email.
Have you found my lost item?
- Ask at the clubhouse or contact VPTC via email.
My Junior missed their lesson day. Can they come on an alternate day?
- Yes, with notice.
I am at the courts but forget the gate code.
- Ask another member discreetly. They will verify your membership.

I am visiting the Cambridge area for a short time but wish to play tennis at VPTC.
- Please contact VPTC via email.
Are shorter length memberships available?
- No. Memberships are by season and renew on the last Saturday in April.
Are there any discounts available on club memberships?
- There are no discounts available on club memberships.
I would like to register for a club membership but it is late in the season.
- Registrations are accepted between January 1 through until the AGM (last Friday in September). Depending on the date of registration, membership may qualify for carryover to the following season. Please contact VPTC via email for additonal detail.
